Our Story
Founded over 30 years ago, our family business operates a professional print studio in Benton, Arkansas. Our fully-equipped Press Studio offers Digital, Letterpress, and Offset printing. At Hobart Print Studio you will find a unique blending of old and new and a place where innovative techniques and creativity are encouraged.
Established in 1998 as Hobart’s Printing Place in Saline County, Arkansas, Sarah and Randy Hobart wanted to be a local print shop specializing in high quality printing for local businesses. Operating in a small city with a population of a little over 20,000 at that time, it was not uncommon to receive requests for the design and printing of wedding stationery.
After pouring through numerous invitation catalogs we came to the conclusion that weddings were an event too special and intimate to be presented to family and friends with a pre-designed, pre-printed invitation using a fill-in templated form with limited customization. We wanted an invitation suite that reflects the style, relationship, and the significance of their union. Planning weddings for soon to be wedding couples was the beginning of a unique journey into the world of wedding etiquette and tradition.
After 30+ years, over 3690 weddings, and over 1 million dollars in wedding stationery sales, Hobart’s Printing Place has been transformed into Hobart Print Studio. Through all these years we have been very active in meeting the needs of our business clients as well as serving the bridal community.
This journey has been an extrodinary adventure with all of life’s ups and downs. We can’t think of a better way to make this journey than with your best friend and spouse and with our family.
